Dating and Drinking

Upon further reflection, this should perhaps be entitled Drinking and Dating because we probably - sorry, definitely - drink more than we date. Then again, given what's out there - wouldn't you?

Current likes: Anything alcoholic that doesn't contain tequila.
Current dislikes: Stupid pickup lines, such as, "So, why aren't you dancing?" Because I am busy drinking, now kindly go away.

Current likes: Red meat, chocolate, and martinis.
Current dislikes: Anything lowfat or diet.

Imaginary Speed Dating Conversations, part I.

I hear in speed dating that there are certain rules, in that certain topics are off-limits - with good reason, perhaps. Because can you imagine? It would be horrible - or hysterical - depending on your point of view. For instance:

Man: So, what's your favourite sexual position?

Woman: One that doesn't involve you.

Man: Bitch.

Woman: Jackass.

[Both sit there, twiddling their thumbs and occassionally glaring at the other person until the rest of the seven minutes are up.]

And there you have it.
